Why the Design and Media BA at Aalto Was the Perfect Choice for Me (and Could Be for You Too!)

Hey there! I’m Kata, a second-year student in the English Design BA program (now called Design and Media) at Aalto University. I’m originally from Hungary, and just 2 years ago, I was in high school, stressing over finals and facing “the” big questions: What am I interested in? What do I want to study? And, essentially, what do I want to do with my life?

Starting at Aalto? Here’s What You Need to Know

Like many universities, especially in Europe, Aalto welcomes many International students. Otaniemi, where Aalto is located, is a diverse and dynamic environment, making it a lively and comfortable place to live and study. However, navigating the campus can be tricky at first, as it is big and surrounded by nature. Finding key locations or information points may take some time, especially for newcomers who could need urgent support with administrative matters.
